Final Stop.

The first few days, we visited Osaka and Kyoto. By the time we finished those two, my luggage were already full from my shopping haul. Then my wife reminded me that Tokyo was actually the main highlight of the trip, and there would be even more things to buy there because she had a lot of shopping plans. (damn..)

Must-visit places in Tokyo:

  1. The Godzilla head at Shinjuku

  2. The massive crossing in Shibuya.

The Shibuya crossing apparently is one of the busiest crossings in the world with up to 3,000 people crossing at one time. I actually went to the Starbucks at the Shibuya Tsutaya. So I got my wife to actually capture me while I head back down and cross haha.

Menya Musashi Tsukemen.

This place was really nice. It’s a ramen shop called Menya Musashi, and they are famous for their dipping ramen, also known as tsukemen. Instead of serving the noodles in the soup, they give you the noodles and the broth separately. You dip the noodles into the broth before eating them.

The broth is much thicker and stronger in flavor compared to normal ramen. I think I ordered the curry tsukemen, and I also tried another one that tasted more like soy sauce. Both of them were really good.
