• Non-Title Matches are held every month → results add points to the ranking ladder.

• Title Matches are held every 3 months → champion must defend against the #1 ranked challenger (with 1 month notice).

• Champion’s Reign: A title can be held for a maximum of 9 months. After that, the title is vacated.

• Vacancy Rule: If a title becomes vacant, the Top 4 ranked athletes in that division fight in a mini-bracket to crown a new champion.

• Ranking Priority:

1. Points (earned from events)

2. Head-to-head results

3. Committee discretion (if needed)

1. Monthly Non-Title Supermatches

• Win → 5 pts

• Close-Loss → 2 pts

• Full-Loss → 1 pts

Bonus:

• +1 pt → Giant Killer (beat someone from a heavier division)

2. Point Expiry

• Points expire 12 months after the event.

• Keeps the ladder fresh and rewards consistent activity.

3. Contender Priority

• #1 ranked challenger gets the first right to issue notice.

• If #1 declines, next ranked athlete is eligible.

• In case of title vacancy, Top 4 in points enter a mini-bracket to crown new champion.

• Best of 5 rounds (first to 3 wins)

• Alternate table sides each round

• 90 seconds rest between rounds

• Slips go to straps

• Elbow foul = foul (2 fouls = round loss)

• Champion must return Hammer within 7 days after losing or vacating

• Only Armwrestling Brunei holds official livestream rights.

• Photos and videos may be used for promotion by the Brunei Armwrestling Association.
